What is the difference between “some day” and “someday”?
Some day? Someday?
“Someday”, an adverb, refers to an unspecified time in the future.
E.g. Someday, I will be the king of the world and you all will regret messing with me.
“Some day”, a noun phrase, refers to an action or even that happens at some time in the future, though the exact day is still not specified.
E.g. Prof Chan said she would be available to see me some day next week.
