The London Tour
This coming May, we will be taking a group of HSMC students to London for a fun, educational field-trip. We have devised a schedule that provides a good mix of sight-seeing, university visits, cultural experiences and free time to explore.
Signing up is a two-step process:
(1) Fill in this form, then
(2) Submit a deposit of $2,000 to Ben in the English Language Centre before 28 February
What Will We Be Doing in London
- Sightseeing- visit some of London’s best tourist hotspots
- Madam Tussauds- the world-famous waxworks
- London Eye- A must-see view of the entire city
- Watching a theatre play- a West End experience to remember
- Visiting museums- learn about the history of UK
- English culture- eat the food, speak the language and learn the customs
- Visiting London universities- we will take a trip to at least one university
- Participating in a City Chase game
- Free time- we will allow you free time to explore London with your friends
Need to Know Information
- Dates: 20-27 May 2018 (The week after exams in Semester 2)
- Cost: ~$13,000 (Subject to flight ticket prices. Final cost to be confirmed in March. Current estimate= $11,800.)
- Places: Max. 24 students
- Sign up deadline: 14 February
- $2000 deposit deadline: 28 February
Not Included in the Budget
- One meal per day in London (the rest of your meals are included in the budget)
- Spending money
- Money for additional activities during free time
Please note that by filling in the form and submitting the deposit, you are confirming that you will come to London in May. Your spot on the tour will not be confirmed until you have paid the deposit.
Places on the tour are first come, first served, with no prerequisites other than your own interest in travel and culture! This is a unique opportunity for you and your friends to travel somewhere new together. We hope you won’t miss it. Fill in this form to book your place now.
