At the English Language Centre, we are all about making English as interesting, useful and relevant as possible to HSMC students. To support this work, we thought it would be a good idea to allow students more say in the resources that we keep in the centre.
We have a limited number of gift certificates that we would like to hand out to students to allow them to buy English reading material that is of interest to them. We give you the certificate, you buy the book/magazine/comic etc. of your choice, read it and then give it to the centre to keep.
What do you need to do?
1. Search the commercial press website for the product you would like to buy (https://www.cp1897.com.hk/cpStore.php).
2. Come to the ELC and inform us of the book you would like to buy. Collect the gift certificate and leave some details for us to contact you. (You can also use this form to register: https://goo.gl/forms/amRmiWyi0WRyvAeb2)
3. Buy the book, read it and bring it to the ELC within the agreed time.
The amount of money available is limited, so we will hand out the gift certificates on a first come, first served basis.
